Who can claim?

PAYE Worker

If you are a PAYE (Pay As You Earn) worker, you could be eligible to claim back certain work expenses that you have personally covered, such as uniforms, tools, lunch and travel costs that aren’t reimbursed by your employer.

Earning £18,000 +

If you earn over £18,000 a year, you could be eligible to claim back certain work-related expenses. By claiming these expenses, you help ensure you’re not overpaying tax on costs you’ve personally incurred while carrying out your job duties.

Travel for work?

If you travel regularly for work and pay for these expenses out of your pocket, you could be eligible to claim back these costs. This includes mileage if you use your own vehicle, public transport fares, or any other necessary travel expenses that are not covered by your employer.
